Additional information about this, Andrew Gold vinyl art.

Andrew Gold  – The Artist

Andrew Maurice Gold (1951 – 2011) was an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer who influenced much of the Los Angeles-dominated pop/soft rock sound in the 1970s. Gold performed on scores of records by other artists, especially Linda Ronstadt, and had his own success with the U.S. top 40 hits “Lonely Boy” (1977) and “Thank You for Being a Friend” (1978), as well as the UK top five hit “Never Let Her Slip Away” (1978). In the 1980s, he had further international chart success as one half of Wax, a collaboration with 10cc’s Graham Gouldman.

Thank You For Being a Friend – The Song

‘Thank You Fot Being A Friend is a song recorded by American singer Andrew Gold. It appears on Gold’s third album All This and Heaven Too. The song was a hit in both the UK and the US. A cover by Cynthia Fee was the theme song for the NBC sitcom The Golden Girls. The song  was used by Volkswagon in a car advert and shown on television in 2024.

TheTeddy Bear – The Shape

This record has been modelled into a silhouette of two teddy bears holding hands. A teddy bear is a stuffed toy in the form of a bear. Developed apparently simultaneously by toymakers Morris Michtom in the U.S. and Richard Steiff under his aunt Margarete Steiff’s company in Germany in the early 20th century, the teddy bear, named after President Theodore Roosevelt, became a popular children’s toy and has been celebrated in story, song, and film.
Since the creation of the first teddy bears (which sought to imitate the form of real bear cubs), “teddies” have greatly varied in form, style, color, and material. They have become collector’s items, with older and rarer teddies appearing at public auctions.] Teddy bears are among the most popular gifts for children, and they are often given to adults to signify affection, congratulations, or sympathy.

The Golden Girls is an American sitcom created by Susan Harris that aired on NBC from September 14, 1985, to May 9, 1992, with a total of 180 half-hour episodes, spanning 7 seasons. Starring Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty, the show is about four older women who share a home in Miami, Florida. It was produced by Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, in association with Touchstone Television. Paul Junger Witt, Tony Thomas, and Harris served as the original executive producers.
