The Eagles – The Artist
The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. The founding members were Glenn Frey (guitars, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitars, vocals) and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals). With five number-one singles, six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards, and five American Music Awards, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s. Their albums Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) and Hotel California are one of their most successful albums. The Eagles are one of the world’s best-selling bands, having sold more than 200 million records worldwide.
Take It Easy – The Song
“Take it Easy” is the debut single by the American rock band Eagles, written by Jackson Browne and Eagles band member Glenn Frey, who also provides lead vocals. It was released on May 1, 1972, and was am international hit. It was also the opening track of the band’s eponymous debut album and has become one of their signature songs, included on all of their live and compilation albums.
