An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the single by the Chelsea Football Club from 1972, Blue Is the Colour. The record was released on the Penny Farthing record label in the UK, and has been reworked into the shape of a soccer / football shirt. Available in long and short sleeved Football shirt versions.
Blue Is the Colour is a football song associated with Chelsea Football Club. It was performed by the squad and released in 1972 to coincide with the club’s ultimately unsuccessful appearance in the League Cup final of that year against Stoke City. It has become one of the most well-known English football songs.
