Oo La La – The Artist/s

Oo La La are a novelty pop band consisting of Eddie Stringer (Vocals & Keyboards) and Charlie Staanifforth (Drum programs and recording) They are best know for their song of the football crowd chant Oo… Ah… Cantona. The record uses crowd and speech samples taken from the live recording of the victory parade, Henry Moore Gallery, Leeds on 3rd May 1992.

In association football, kit (also referred to as a strip or uniform) is the standard equipment and attire worn by players. Footballers generally wear identifying numbers on the backs of their shirts. Originally a team of players wore numbers from 1 to 11, corresponding roughly to their playing positions, but at the professional level this has generally been superseded by squad numbering, whereby each player in a squad is allocated a fixed number for the duration of a season. Eric Daniel Pierre Cantona (born 1966) is a French actor and former professional footballer. A large, physically strong, hard-working and tenacious player, Cantona combined technical skill and creativity with power and goalscoring ability. Invariably utilised as a deep-lying forward, he was also capable of playing as a centre-forward, as an out-and-out striker, as an attacking midfielder, or as a central midfielder. In 2004, he was named by Pelé in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players.

Leeds United Football Club is a professional football club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The club was formed in 1919 following the disbanding of Leeds City F.C. by the Football League and took over their Elland Road stadium. They play in the Championship, the second tier of English football.

Leeds United have won three English league titles, one FA Cup, one League Cup, two Charity/Community Shields and two Inter-Cities Fairs Cups. The club reached the 1975 European Cup Final, losing to Bayern Munich.
