Odyssey – The Artist/s
Odyssey is originally a New York City, United States-based singing group, best known for their 1977 hit “Native New Yorker”, and a series of other mainly dance and soul hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Now based in the United Kingdom, the band is led and fronted by Steven Collazo and continues to perform and record.
Native New Yorker – The Song
“Native New Yorker” performed by the Disco band Odyssey is a version of a disco song written by Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell. It was first recorded in 1977 by Frankie Valli and released on his album Lady Put the Light Out. Later in 1977 the song became a hit single for the soul dance band Odyssey.
The Manhatten Skyline – The Shape
