An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of  Mirror Man from 1982  by British synthpop group, The Human League. Released on the Virgin record label this vinyl single has been reworked into the silhouette of a man set on a mirrored background. (Please excuse the limitations of the Mirror Man Reflective Mirror image. The actual ‘reflective mirror option’ has a reflective mirrored surface.)

Mirror Man was conceived and written as a celebration of Oakey and Wright’s love of Motown records. It has been described as electronic northern soul, with Oakey’s main verses delivered in deliberate sentences with emphasis on the last word of each sentence.  According to lead singer Oakley, the song is about fellow pop star Adam Ant. Oakey had become concerned that Ant was starting to believe his own publicity, and was in danger of losing touch with reality.
