Barry White – The Artist

Barry Eugene Carter (1944 – 2003), better known by his stage name Barry White, was an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and composer. A two-time Grammy Award–winner known for his distinctive bass-baritone voice and romantic image, his greatest success came in the 1970s as a solo singer and with The Love Unlimited Orchestra, crafting many enduring soul, funk, and disco songs such as his two biggest hits: “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” and “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe”.

Just The Way You Are – The Song

‘Just The Way You Are’  is a cover version by Barry White taken from his album ‘The Man’ on 20th Century Records in 1978. The original song was written by Bill Joel for his first wife (and also his business manager at the time) Elizabeth Weber.

The Heart – The Shape

Modelled into a silhouette of a heart. The heart shape and its meaning has evolved over hundreds of years. Nowadays it means love but before the 13th and 14th centuries it was generally drawn for decorative purposes. People at that time thought of our hearts as books of memory and believed feelings for the beloved were somehow written on your heart.
