Lulu – The Artist

Lulu Kennedy-Cairns, OBE (born 1948), is a Scottish singer, actress, television personality and businesswoman. She is noted for her powerful singing voice. She is internationally known, but especially by UK audiences in the 1960s. Later in her career she had hits internationally with “To Sir with Love” from the 1967 film of the same name and with the title song to the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. In European countries, she is also widely known for her Eurovision Song Contest 1969 winning entry “Boom Bang-a-Bang”, and in the UK for her 1964 hit “Shout”, which was performed at the closing ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

I’m A Tiger – The Song

‘I’m A Tiger’  is a 1968 song by the Scottish singer Lulu. Written by Ronnie Scott and Marty Wilde. It was released as a stand alone single and not taken from any album but helped her gain popularity at the beginning of her career.

The Bengal Tiger Shere Khan  – The Shape

This record has been modelled into the  Bengal tiger, Shere Khan from Walt Disneys adaptation of The Jungle Book. The tiger is the largest extant cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange-brown fur with a lighter underside. It is an apex predator, primarily preying on ungulates such as deer and wild boar. It is territorial and generally a solitary but social predator, requiring large contiguous areas of habitat, which support its requirements for prey and rearing of its offspring. Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years, before they become independent and leave their mother’s home range to establish their own.

The Jungle Book (1894) is a collection of stories by the English author Rudyard Kipling. Most of the characters are animals such as Shere Khan the tiger and Baloo the bear, though a principal character is the boy or “man-cub” Mowgli, who is raised in the jungle by wolves. The stories are set in a forest in India; one place mentioned repeatedly is “Seonee” (Seoni), in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.
