Robert Palmer and UB40 – The Artist
Robert Allen Palmer ( 1949 – 2003) was an English singer and songwriter. He was known for his powerful and soulful voice, his sartorial elegance, and his stylistic explorations, combining soul, funk, jazz, rock, pop, reggae, and blues. His 1986 song “Addicted to Love” and its accompanying video came to “epitomise the glamour and excesses of the 1980’s.”
UB40 are an English reggae and pop band, formed in 1978 in Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success with over 70 million records sold worldwide. The ethnic make-up of the band’s original line-up was diverse, with musicians of English, Welsh, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish and Yemeni parentage. The band’s line-up was stable for nearly 29 years, from 1979 until January, when frontman Ali Campbell left the band.

The Heart – The Shape
This record has been modelled into a loving heart. The heart shape and its meaning has evolved over hundreds of years. Nowadays it means love but before the 13th and 14th centuries it was generally drawn for decorative purposes. People at that time thought of our hearts as books of memory and believed feelings for the beloved were somehow written on your heart.
