Have I Told You Lately – The Song
“Have I Told You Lately” is a song written and recorded by Northern Irish singer and songwriter Van Morrison for his nineteenth studio album Avalon Sunset (1989). It is a romantic ballad that is often played at weddings, although it was originally written as a prayer. It was released as the album’s lead single in 1989, and it became a worldwide hit. It has become a popular cover song with many vocal and instrumental versions recorded by numerous artists and bands. In 1993, Rod Stewart’s version charted in both the UK and US charts.
The Heart – The Shape
This record has been modelled into a loving heart. The heart shape and its meaning has evolved over hundreds of years. Nowadays it means love but before the 13th and 14th centuries it was generally drawn for decorative purposes. People at that time thought of our hearts as books of memory and believed feelings for the beloved were somehow written on your heart.
