Additional information about this Whitney Houston vinyl art.

Whitney Houston – The Artist

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (1963 – 2012) was an American singer and actress. She was cited as the most awarded female artist of all time by Guinness World Records and remains one of the best-selling music artists of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide.

Greatest Love Of All – The Song

‘Greatest Love Of All’ is Whitney Houstons version of “The Greatest Love of All” a song written by Michael Masser, who composed the music, and Linda Creed, who wrote the lyrics. It was originally recorded in 1977 by George Benson, who made the song a substantial hit, peaking at number two on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart that year, the first R&B chart top-ten hit for Arista Records. The song was further popularised by American singer Whitney Houston under the title “Greatest Love of All,” without the “The”. The song was recorded in December 1984 for her 1985 self-titled debut studio album. The song became a major hit, topping the charts in internationally. It remains her third biggest hit, after “I Will Always Love You” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”. All three songs, in order of their former popularity, became popular again, after Houston’s death in 2012.

Trophy Cup – The Shape

The record has been modelled into a winners trophy. A trophy is a tangible, durable reminder of a specific achievement, and serves as recognition or evidence of merit. Trophies are often awarded for sporting events, from youth sports to professional level athletics. In many sports medals are often given out either as the trophy or along with more traditional trophies.
