Michael Jackson – The Artist

Michael Jackson (1958 – 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Dubbed the “King of Pop”, he was one of the most popular entertainers in the world and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Jackson’s contributions to music, dance, and fashion along with his publicised personal life made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.

Got To Be There – The Song

Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough is a song by American singer Michael Jackson. Written by Jackson and released by Epic Records on July 10, 1979, the song is the first track on Jackson’s fifth studio album Off the Wall (1979). Additionally, it was Jackson’s first solo recording in which he had control of the creative direction. The song achieved worldwide success, reaching number one in ten countries including the UK and the US. “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” was well received by contemporary music critics and is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most iconic disco songs of all time.

The Geotag – The Shape

This record has been modelled into the silhouette of a Geotag. Geotagging, or GeoTagging, is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as a geotagged photograph or video, websites, SMS messages, QR Codes or RSS feeds and is a form of geospatial metadata. This data usually consists of latitude and longitude coordinates, though they can also include altitude, bearing, distance, accuracy data, and place names, and perhaps a time stamp. Geotagging can help users find a wide variety of location-specific information from a device. For instance, someone can find images taken near a given location by entering latitude and longitude coordinates into a suitable image search engine.
