A Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1961 song, Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. The vinyl single has been reworked into the silhouette of a loving heart.
Can’t Help Falling in Love is a pop ballad written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore and George David Weiss. The melody is based on Plaisir d’amour, a popular seventeenth century romance by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini. It was featured in Elvis Presley’s 1961 film, Blue Hawaii.
Since its original release it has been recorded by numerous other artists, including British reggae group UB40, whose 1993 version topped the U.S. and UK charts.
It is still a popular song played at weddings.
